People pay for this?

I just had me another one of my moments of, “wow, people pay for that?”

It just seems amazing to me, maybe just because I know how to do this stuff that I forget that other people may not know how to do this. Don’t get me wrong, I knew in the recesses of my brain that people get paid for webmaster services etc., I mean, that’s part of what I do in my day job as a Systems Administrator.

I knew that people paid for someone else to handle their web services for them, but it never occured to me that people would pay to learn how to admin their own accounts. Amazingly, teaching people to admin their accounts and setup hosting etc. falls in line with my SEO business that I’m trying to get off the ground.

What am I talking about? I’m talking about web hosting accounts, setting up web pages, blogs, vlogs, youtube videos, setting up dns records, setting up mx records, all of that sort of thing. These are all things that take no effort for me, but that I now realize are both complicated and difficult to understand for regular people.

I’m seeing a whole new product idea in the making…
