A good foundation

Allow me to get a little bit religious with you here. I promise this won’t hurt.

Last night, I went to my small group meeting. My church, is not a mega church, but it’s growing in size. Two of the three pillars of the church, are connecting people with God and connecting people with each other. So, we have small groups that meet at someone’s house every week so we can connect with each other. We get together and study a biblical principle of some kind, have dinner and just hang out.

The topic of study last night, was foundations. Specifically, we were talking about having a strong foundation and about making God the foundation of your life. We talked about how if your foundation is weak, anything that you build on top of it will be shaky and weak. When a storm comes, the structure will not be able to weather the storm.

I’ll step away from the religious theme for now. Here’s the point of all this.

It’s not hard to make money online. It’s not rocket science, or brain surgery.

It’s not easy to make money online either. It will take work, but it’s not hard work, like working in the sun for 10 hours a day building houses or building freeway overpasses. It will take work. It will take laying a strong foundation. Your online business, will only grow as big and as strong as it’s foundation. You should also treat it like a business, not a hobby, unless you only want a hobby. By the way, there’s nothing wrong with having a hobby that pays you some money every so often.

Building a strong foundation takes time, it takes commitment and it takes vision. Take the time to build the foundation, then build upon that.

I really enjoyed this post. The house built on solid rock is one of the many lessons of the Bible that can be applied to EVERY area in life. Thank you for being bold enough to post it!
